Avery's Albinos is an isolation of an albino mutation of Cambodian Psilocybe Cubensis. "Albinous White" cloned and isolated the mutation over multiple generations before naming the variety after his daughter Avery.

Variety Details

Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soil.

Climate: Subtropical

Cap: 25-125+ mm in diameter, convex to broadly convex to plane at maturity. White flesh maturing to light blue and dark blue at maturity. Flesh white soon bruising bluish green.

Stem: 100-160+ mm in length, opalescent white. Flesh bruising bluish green where injured. Persistent membranous annulus (ring) from partial veil that becomes dusted with translucent spores at maturity.

Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish-blue -white coloration in young fruit bodies becoming blue in maturity. Only ejects on average 10% of the spores a non albino variant would.

Spores: Translucent/Albino spores, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia
